August 10th was a beautiful, warm summer day. The sun was shining brilliantly the bright blue skies created the perfect setting for such a sweet couple. As a photographer, I am honored to spend the day with my wedding couples. Side by side, I photograph them in the big moments and the quiet moments. I was thrilled to get to know more about their relationship as the day progressed. What I loved most was the way both Melanie and Troy lit up when talking about the other, as well as their newborn baby girl, Amelia. Their eyes would brighten, their smiles would widen and you could see the joy overflow from within!
I adored the color scheme Melanie selected- it was vibrant and fun! Their elegant, modern and cleanly designed theme carried throughout the day and into the Reception. Perhaps my favorite moment though, was their first look- just outside the doors of the historic sanctuary. It provided the most beautiful backdrop for what was a truly beautiful moment.
These beautiful moments continued all day- some were beautifully fun, others were beautifully emotional- but this lovely summer's day in August was a great reflection of this couple's love. So without further ado, here is a peek at their day:
