A Beach, Boys and Football Family Session!

I have two boys and I absolutely love it. I love the loudness (most of the time), the interest in sports, exploring, all things that involve dirt and mud, their uncontrollable laughter, and everything else that comes along with a house of boys!  Maybe that is part of the reason I feel right at home when I photograph this family.  Ultra-athletic, these brothers love to move, jump and feel most comfortable with a football in their hands, ready to run and tackle.  We had a wonderful time investigating the beach and capturing this family in their element: sports & laughter.  Here is a glimpse into our session:

Class of 2015: Tabitha

I first met Tabitha this spring while photographing her aunts wedding.  I loved her right away. Friendly, outgoing and memorable with her beautiful auburn hair and happy smile.  What I didn't know is that this smile goes along with a contagious laugh that carried through the whole session. Tabitha is a beauty- inside and out- and it is no wonder that she had three loved ones join her for her session. Together, we all endured the humidity with hilarious moments and genuine fun.  Here is a look into her session:

An Elegant Crown Room Wedding: Erica & Brad

Everything about this wedding was classy and elegant.  From the incredible satin and lace dress, the colors, the shoes, the venues, guests, family and wedding party.  The saying goes that like draws like. Because Erica and Brad are classy and incredible, the people surrounding them and the details that made their day unique, were also in a class of their own.  The day went as smoothly as any wedding I have ever photographed and these two were truly glowing. The joy they felt was contagious and I felt myself smiling so much my mouth hurt at the end of the evening.  Add to that the fact that this wedding party knows how to laugh- every time I turned around I saw another group laughing so hard that is was difficult not to join in.  This is a couple I am honored to know, grateful to photograph and privileged to share on the blog today.  The love and respect they express to one another in every glance, each interaction is a beautiful thing- and is what will make this marriage last forever.

Here is look into their wedding day- complete with a ceremony at Erica's childhood church (and just a few feet from her parent's backyard) and a reception at the always-lovely Crown Room in Rogers.
