A Captivating Country Wedding: Leah & Travis

You would think that given my profession, weddings would become less meaningful to me as time goes on. You would think that it would be easy to look at it as just another Saturday.  Thankfully, that couldn't be further from the truth.  I appreciate them more. I realize the significant of the day- the beginning of a life together as one. And I am blessed to document so many moments that truly feel sacred.  Leah and Travis had SO many of these moments- incredible, beautiful and unforgettable moments during their wedding day.  I think that is because their love runs deep and their faith is the rock on which they stand.  Together, they are perfect.

I loved watching the smile on Travis' face get wider and bigger as he talked about how they met.  Years ago, she was working at a golf course and he was mowing lawns there.  They noticed each other and wanted to find a way to start a friendship. Enter Facebook.  Once they connected, it was clear to him immediately that she was one in a million.  With such a sweet, innocent story of love, it is hard not to like these two.  The beautiful country church set amid the corn fields and dusty dirt roads, along with the Welch Village reception made for the perfect setting for this loving couple to say I do.  Here is a peek into their day:

Loved the significant of this Bible- which has been in Travis' family for many years.

Those fun (and funny!) moments during a wedding day must be captured too!

One of my favorite aspects of their day was that they each wrote a letter and read them together after their beautiful and emotional 'first look'.

And this! One of the most amazing moments of the day- Leah's dad seeing her for the first time.

The adorable flower girl admiring Leah's dress and beauty!

This 'buggy' is over 150 years old!  Such a cool vintage detail to have as part of their day!

As they start their journey as husband and wife, there is no doubt that these two were made to be together. Congratulations Leah and Travis!
