Sweet L.O.V.E and Smiles: Strouf Family Session

From beginning to end, this session, just like the family, was saturated in sweet love.  This was the second time I had to pleasure of photographing these six and I can say I am once again amazed by them. The way Sarah and Jason balance life with four little ones is beautiful- and it shows in the joy and sweetness their children exude.  They loved the farm and beach locations- from the cows and rustic feel of the barns and historic buildings to the simple fun in throwing rocks and sand into the water at the beach.

As I drove home from their session, I thought about how much laughter goes on within their family. And as our family grows, I think I am learning that is not only fun but a must to laugh through the good and the bad- the hard, stressful and the juggling of four little humans completely dependent upon you for everything. That laughter makes it beautiful and impacts the kids forever.  The final image I captured from their shoot was that of a heart shaped shell found on the sandy beach by their adorable daughter. I couldn't have dreamed of a better way and a better image to summarize our time together- love and simple joys. Here is peak into their session:

Class of 2016 [brothers] : Jake & Darryl

It was so fun to photograph these brothers last week!  On a perfect August evening, we ventured out to beaches, docks, fields, forests, and urban locations to capture their personalities. The blonde hair verse dark hair is not the only difference between these two. Their personalities and interests are as varying as their looks!  From well-worn Wild t-shirts to button up shirts and ties, they continued to showcase their contrasting styles. Despite the differences, these two both were genuine and great to photograph. Here is look into our session:

Elegance, Ease and Ever-after: Allie & Phil's Wedding

They caught one another's eye in high school.  A homecoming queen and quarterback, they seemed like the ideal match- and nearly a decade later, this proved all the more true.  Together, they possess remarkable drive, exceptional people skills and envy-worthy athleticism.  But that is just scraping the surface of this fantastic couple.  They are calm, collected, and cool in every way possible.  They seem to complete one another's life without losing their strong sense of independence.  As their wedding night continued and toasts rolled in their honor, it became even more evident that they don't just live remarkable lives, they are wonderful people. Now a kindergarten teacher and multi-sport college coach respectively, they have grown up together in many ways, and their hearts have woven as one in an unforgettable way.

For such an amazing couple, it is so surprise that their wedding was perfect. From the gorgeous grounds of The Grands at Mulligans in Sartell, to the elegant details, the ease at which they navigated their day and the ever-after fairy tale future that awaits, it was idyllic. Here is peek into their day:

I wish you both a wonderful happily ever after, Phil and Allie!
