A Fun, Forest and Fabulous Family Session

I had the joy of meeting this fun family a couple years ago for Logan's Grad portraits. When they called to set up a winter session, I was thrilled.  When it happened to be -20 on that day, we were all less than thrilled and decided to move the session forward. Who could guess that we would have a gorgeous, near-seventy degree day in early March!? It was so fun getting to know them all and trekking through the woods with them this past weekend.  When we arrived, they shared with me that although they live far away now, they used to live close and this forest and these trails were favorite hiking spots for them over a decade ago!  I love that this spot has some sweet sentimental value- and how it just happened to work out that way! Here is peek into their session:

A Pretty, Pearls and Precious Family Session!

Oh my goodness this little girl reminds me why I started photography!  I LOVE getting to see her grow!  Check out her first session HERE.  She is a beauty, and one of the most relaxed, smiling little sweethearts I have ever laid eyes on!  We snuck in this session just before some rain rolled in and took advantage of the perfectly overcast skies.  This time, both her wonderful parents joined us for some family shots as well.  I loved the vintage suitcases, pearls and kisses that this session included.
Here is a sneak peek into our time together:

A Beach Baby Session: Easton Turns One!

I love this family. I have photographed them four times now- and each time I walk away thinking how wonderful they are.  During their engagement, wedding, newborn and now one-year sessions, I have had the privilege of watching them grow from two to three and it is a beautiful thing!  Easton is adorable. He is sweet, full of fun expressions and so dearly loved!  I just had to laugh that he barely even touched his cupcake at the end- it was so cute!  Here is a look at this lovely family of three:

Sleds, Snoopy, Snow & a Sweet Family Session!

This family was so brave!  It was lightly snowing during their session, which is beautiful with the rustic barn and red touches in their adorable outfit choices. It was also 8 degrees!  We moved fast to get great portraits of their cute family and their sweet little boy, Jaxson!
Here is look at a few of the moments that were captured during their snowy session:
