A Family of (Almost) Four, Fall Family Session: The Shannon's!

I love these three (ALMOST FOUR!). We have been blessed to call them good friends for years and I couldn't be more thrilled for them to welcome their little sweetheart in just a few months!  As the sunset on a perfect fall evening- with soft pinks illuminating the just-bare trees behind them, and the bright yellow leaves at their feet- it was perfection. Their two-year-old gave me the cutest expressions as he meandered around the rustic setting- searching for cows and holding tight to his trusty panda stuffed animal.  It was so fitting to have this be my final session before my maternity leave- to celebrate family, love and growth!  To highlight fun, and leaf-throwing fights!  Here is peek into their session:

Beautiful Fields, and Bubble Fun: Ochs Family Session

Someone seriously call GAP. They need to know about the sheer adorableness (I realize this is not a real word) of this family.  All five of them are just beautiful, fun and sweet.  They have style, they have an amazing amount of love- and I adore photographing them. I had the honor of photographing them early last winter- and this session began with a huge bear hug from one of the boys- and continued with all three of them holding my hand at some point and wanting to help assist me.  Cute doesn't even begin.  Between the perfect fall night, the golden fields and the rustic barn, this was a session not be forgotten- here is look into our time together:

Sweet L.O.V.E and Smiles: Strouf Family Session

From beginning to end, this session, just like the family, was saturated in sweet love.  This was the second time I had to pleasure of photographing these six and I can say I am once again amazed by them. The way Sarah and Jason balance life with four little ones is beautiful- and it shows in the joy and sweetness their children exude.  They loved the farm and beach locations- from the cows and rustic feel of the barns and historic buildings to the simple fun in throwing rocks and sand into the water at the beach.

As I drove home from their session, I thought about how much laughter goes on within their family. And as our family grows, I think I am learning that is not only fun but a must to laugh through the good and the bad- the hard, stressful and the juggling of four little humans completely dependent upon you for everything. That laughter makes it beautiful and impacts the kids forever.  The final image I captured from their shoot was that of a heart shaped shell found on the sandy beach by their adorable daughter. I couldn't have dreamed of a better way and a better image to summarize our time together- love and simple joys. Here is peak into their session:
