Bride and Groom Art Albums: Katie & Cody

One of my favorite aspects about my job is custom-designing wedding albums for my clients.  I don’t use templates at all- so the process can take a bit- but I love the end result and I love that I can truly tailor-make each and every page.  The finished product is always 20 pages of artistic creation that tells the unique love story of the couple.  Because no two couples, weddings or styles are the same, no two albums should be either!  The genuine leather cover featuring a favorite image, personalized quotes, verses and lyrics and the flush mount design on thick 1/4" pages make it one that will last a lifetime and hopefully always bring my couples back to their most significant day!

Today, I finished Katie and Cody’s album and wanted to share a sneak peek with all of you!  Enjoy the beautiful day!

Class of 2013: Brittney

They traveled from over an hour away and she came with a bright smile and glowing eyes.  Strikingly beautiful on and the outside and what was more, on the inside as well.  Brittney was at ease in front of the camera.  She was a natural in every sense and I wanted to keep photographing her far beyond her session time.  The images that came from our time together were some of my favorites from any grad session!  I LOVE it when they want to include some fun props- including my own umbrella- and she owned each and every outfit.  Whether laughing, smiling or showing off that killer dramatic look, Brittney shines.  Here is just a small look at her session:

Real Love & Rustic Locations: Lindsay & Michael's Engagement

I love these high school sweethearts!  They are adorable in every way and after many years of dating, are ready to tie the knot in June of 2013!  I have no doubt that there wedding will be gorgeous because these two are beautiful, their love is adorable and their style is to die for!  Their session was just about perfect last week- the weather, the overcast skies, their willingness to bring along some cute props, and their sweet love for one another.  It doesn't get much better than that- unless you add this rustic location!  Here are a few highlights from our time together:

Class of 2013: Ruby

Ruby shines with a beauty that begins from within and radiates outward... a beauty that is unfading.  Her faith is such a huge part of who she is and I love that about her.  Spending much of her life as a missionary's daughter in Africa, Ruby has such a great insight on life as a teenager!  Not only am I honored to call her one of only a few of my son's babysitter's, but a young women of
integrity and respect.

Her session was fun- a bit on the chilly side and beautiful!   We were able to capture her among the fields, beaches, lakes and docks of Elk River!  Here are a few highlights from our session:

Class of 2013: Eddie

Meet Eddie.  Eddie is a character through and through.  Full of humor, easy to laugh with and relaxed.  He is most at home within the forests and fields of Minnesota, although he has lived in Texas, Iowa and Italy at different points of his life.  He also happens to be a grad of character, and I was honored to travel along-side him and his family for a missions trip to Italy nearly one year ago.  During that time, Eddie became a 'little brother' to me and I think he always will be just that.

Given the fact we knew one another well heading into the session, we had a blast.  We laughed 90% of the time and were still able to get some great dramatic shots of that serious hunter Eddie!

Here are a few highlights:

Class of 2013: Danielle

This has been the summer of sisters!  Danielle is the fifth grad I have had the honor of photographing when I also captured her older sister's senior portraits two years ago!  It is such a joy to see these families again- how they're growing, changing, and on new life adventures!  Danielle was a super easy girl to photograph- she was so go with the flow and relaxed that it made for a fun session!  We enjoyed the cooling temps and walked along the railroad tracks, within a beautiful field of vibrant flowers and much more!  Here are a couple glimpses of our time together:
