Worth the wait. Kolleen, as self-described, had high standards for her soul mate. When you are as smart, beautiful and kind as she is, those standards should be high. She caught Stephan's eye quickly while they worked together. While it took a little more time for Kolleen, once she saw him for all his qualities she was hooked. This pair, this couple, their love and the way they interact was well worth the wait. As a true reflection of Kolleen and Stephan, this wedding day was one of laughter. Every single person involved was beyond thrilled for these two to start forever together and it showed in the contagious smiles, fits of laughter, and the joy that could be felt by every person attending.
Ever the planner and organizer, Kolleen put together the most beautiful, elegant wedding. Both the church and the reception locations highlighted the gorgeous soft snow that fell throughout the day. It was the epitome of a winter wonderland- and the warm love between these two shone beautifully against the stark white. While there are simply too many incredible details to recount, their love letters, wedding-day gifts, sense of humor, unforgettable toasts, hilarious wedding party and sophisticated DIY candle centerpieces were among the most memorable. And yet, long after the toasts have ended, the candles have flickered out and the snow has melted, these two, and their love for life and one another, will remain.
