Class of 2015: Megan

Megan is a girl I adore. I've watched her grow up for years as I photographed her sports and family pictures- and earlier this week I was able to photograph this beauty for her senior pictures!  She has many passions and talents and wanted to include many of them within her session- first up was photography! I was thrilled to use my vintage cameras and to find someone who shares my love for them!  I loved the inclusion of her bold red guitar and the retro mic as well!  The more seniors highlight what they love, the better the session!  We had a blast on another gorgeous fall night and there is no doubt that Megan is as gifted in front of the camera as she is behind!  Here is a look into our session:

St. John's Sweet Love: Nicole & Michael's Engagement Session

You know you just had a great session when you walk away with a few inside jokes that make you laugh hysterically. Such was the case with Nicole and Michael.  They are so fun, so real, so good-looking that it make my job about as easy as possible on Saturday.  We drove up to St. Johns- where they met and fell in love a few years ago and I was head over heals for this campus! The unique architecture, the gorgeous acres of forests and the way these two fit together made for the perfect session.  On top of all of that, it was the ideal fall day- the leaves were just starting to change and the temperature reminded me of what I love about Minnesota autumn's.  Here is a glimpse at our session:

Motorcycles & Magnificence: Cassie & Jon's Engagement Session

I love engagement sessions for so many reasons. One of them is because I get to know the couple very well- their personalities, likes, the way they interact with one another and more during the session. Just a few moments into this one I knew three things: 1. I love them. I love them for their adventurous spirit, kind hearts and lets be honest, I love them because they are SO easy to photograph. 2. They love one another.  Their love is sweet, fun, romantic and beautiful.  It's easy to capture a love that is LOVELY. 3. Their wedding is going to be epic.  The fact that these two, (Cassie in heals!!), climbed a huge tree just to get a unique shot showcases this truth.  The fact that they both ride motorcycles and look amazing doing it demonstrates it all the more.  I cannot wait for their February 2015 wedding!  Here is a peek into their session from last week:

Class of 2015: Zach

A Taylor Lautner look alike, athletic, with a great smile and a love for nature.  That is what you get when you first meet Zach.  But get to know him further and you'll find he is incredibly mature, kind hard working and easy going.  It was a joy to photograph Zach this past weekend. What a perfect, golden-sunny September morning!  Another day I drove home smiling, thanking God for the blessing to do something I love.  People like Zach are the reason why!
