A Family of (Almost) Four, Fall Family Session: The Shannon's!

I love these three (ALMOST FOUR!). We have been blessed to call them good friends for years and I couldn't be more thrilled for them to welcome their little sweetheart in just a few months!  As the sunset on a perfect fall evening- with soft pinks illuminating the just-bare trees behind them, and the bright yellow leaves at their feet- it was perfection. Their two-year-old gave me the cutest expressions as he meandered around the rustic setting- searching for cows and holding tight to his trusty panda stuffed animal.  It was so fitting to have this be my final session before my maternity leave- to celebrate family, love and growth!  To highlight fun, and leaf-throwing fights!  Here is peek into their session:

Fields and Forests- a Fall Family Session: The Kennedy Family!

It's so fun- perhaps my favorite aspect of doing what I do for a living- to have families that become such a great part of your life. In this case, I already had a friendship building with Sharon when I was just beginning my business- and it has been fun to walk with these two, and now three over the past several years. Engagement, wedding, and family portraits are so easy to do with them- they are beyond photogenic.  It might have something to do with the fact that they, themselves are successful wedding cinematographers! Check out their incredible work HERE. Here is a glimpse into our session from this past weekend- we were able to capture them just as the final colorful leaves were falling and the sun even shone gloriously as we wrapped up the final images!  Fall perfection at its best!

An Autumn Elegance and Sheer Joy Wedding: Emily & Brandon

Emily and Brandon are the kind of people who you want to be around. Genuine, down-to-earth and so kind, they portray authenticity in every sense. So when their wedding in mid-October happened to be one of the most stunning days of fall, I was overjoyed and thrilled for them.  The sun made the colors of autumn all the more glorious and the weather was just about perfect.  As I've gotten to know them over the course of several months, I found myself continually in awe of the respect and sweet love they show to one another in each and every interaction.  The joy on both of their faces was obvious- a radiant and outward showing of what their hearts were feeling.  With calm demeanors, they soaked up their day in elegance and happiness.  Here is a look into their fantastic day- where highlights include leaf throwing, sun-flare illuminating their love and sophisticated rustic fall details.
