Contest Winner: Ricca, Tim and Ava

      Late last fall I did a session + image giveaway.  With nearly 350 entrants, Ricca won the contest! Little did I know that this beauty lived over two hours away!  Still, she was thrilled and made the trip last weekend to snowy Minnesota.  Her boyfriend and his sweet daughter joined her and it made for some wonderful (and cold) memories and moments.  We trudged through the snow to get some great images near rustic barns, fences and snow-laden paths. Yes, trudged. There is no better word for it when the snow is up to your thigh!  They handled it well and the results are wonderful wintry images. Here is peek into our session time: 

Class of 2015: Cassi

     I first met Cassi nearly four years ago.  Since that time, she has grown and matured and in just about one year from starting a new unknown adventure.  Cassi was beautiful then is beautiful now.  She has a sweet, modest demeanor and is a natural beauty.  But perhaps what I love best about Cassi and our session earlier this month, is her love for the outdoors.  An avid ice fisher and dog lover, she was right at home within the heavy snow, cold temps and tall pines.  Here is a look into our session:

Class of 2014: Ali

 

Ali is a go-getter. Strong, motivated, friendly and beautiful.  During her November session, we braved what we thought were frigid temps.  Compared to the winter we have had, they were tropical- but still a shift from summer's warm breeze.  Ali has the toughness of a hockey player and yet the kindness of a sweet woman on the brink of a new life adventure.  It was so fun to capture her many sides and incorporate her love for sports and her two HUGE dogs.  The laughter that resulted from our attempts to get them to sit and look at me was nothing short of wonderful.  Here is a look into her session:
