Wedding days are often so indicative of a couples story, love, style and personality. Janell and Justin's day was the perfect example of this truth. Their fun & funky 1950's theme carried effortlessly throughout the day- from the vintage cars lining the sun-laden streets to the classic white tux worn wonderfully by the groom. A gifted Elvis impersonator brought life and entertainment to their reception, just as the neon green details added elements of pop that reflect the couples unique personalities. It was hard to ignore the way the soft November sun shown so beautifully during their first look, and illuminated from behind her veil- truly the perfect day if ever there was one! But perhaps above all these fantastic details, the one that seemed to weave so lovingly through their day was that of Porky's. These two met and fell in love during a first date at the infamous restaurant many years ago- and as they planned their wedding at Pioneer Village in Hastings, they discovered that the now-closed eatery was moved and added to the Pioneer Village collection of historic and vintage buildings and cars. And so their day came full circle and told their story at every turn. If ever there was an unforgettable event, so full of fun, and all that made the 1950's idyllic and romantic, surely, it was Janell and Justin's day! Here is a peak into some of their images:
