There is something about young love, summer weddings and country chic style that comes together beautifully. Such was the case for Katie and Jesse's day late last month. The light pastel colors, with the perfect sunshine-filled day made for the ideal combination. Katie's dress was stunning, Jesse's contagious laugh was in full force and their down-to-earth approach to all things was the perfect add to their wedding.
As with all weddings, I had a few favorites that will remain embedded in my heart for years to come. These include their willingness to trust me and climb on top of huge hay bails for some fun, memorable images, the fact that Katie's mom was the matron of honor and just the sheer gorgeousness (that may not be a word) of this couple and their day. I loved the piggy back rides and sweet kisses. I love that their vows were exchanged just as the storm clouds made their appearance on the horizon. But perhaps most of all, I love the way these two put one another at ease. They calm each other and bring such light into one another's eyes. One can only imagine what they make one another feel within their hearts. Here is a look into their cute, country chic wedding:
