Emily
and Adam met in Ely, MN- where civilization ends and wide-open spaces, forests,
rivers and snow covered land begins.
Their love grew and the city-girl turned into a country girlfriend. Eventually, they moved to southern
Minnesota and while their surroundings changed dramatically, their deep love
remained a constant. Just two
weeks ago, this amazing couple became one in a beautiful day full of auburn
colored leaves, brilliant sunshine and a perfect blend of romance and rustic
details.
I
am blessed to watch the dreams of a couple, the style and details, go from a
plan to fruition. Emily is a
planner; she is organized and a visionary. She brought her classy country wedding theme to a bold and
beautiful reality on October 4th. Lace and burlap, rustic wooden signs and a vintage cake
topper, these were just a few of the aspects that so wonderfully reflected the
couple. Adam and Emily are among
the most down-to-earth, genuine, loyal, and beautiful people I have ever
met. Adam is a guys-guy who is loves
his dog, hunting and all things outdoors. He is both tough and strong in most things and yet unafraid to
show emotion when it comes to his bride. Emily is a stunning, smart woman who
has managed to balance her natural glamour with her country environment. She lights up a room with her smile and
makes everyone around her feel loved and known. What a privilege it was to watch their day unfold and
photograph each sweet tear and happy laugh.
Here
is a glimpse at their day- where their dog Duke, shows his photogenic side once
again. Check out their engagement
session HERE for more of Duke the wonder-dog!
