Class of 2015: Rachel

I loved the adventures Rachel, her mom and I went on during her session. We battled pouring rain, humidity and heat that we hadn't felt in Minnesota for about 9 months!  I also loved the locations we selected for this super fun, smart and athletic senior.  50th and France and Centennial Lakes in Edina were gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for such a beautiful grad session!  Here is just a peek into our time together last weekend:

Class of 2015: Jessica

Jessica is one of the girls you want to get to know more. Quiet and shy at first, but clearly intelligent, obviously kind and very beautiful- once you spend just a little time with her, you know she is incredibly special.  Her passion and dedication for horses- and specifically her own horse- is amazing.  I loved navigating the Japanese Gardens in Bloomington and the grounds where her horse is kept to capture Jess in her element!  With a natural smile and sweet laugh, it was easy to get great images of this phenomenal senior!  Here is a look into our time together:

Lebanon Hills Couple Mini Session: Tracy & Brett

I always liked Tracy. I was blessed to photograph both of her kids senior portraits over the last few years and loved her personality and bright smile. When she contacted me about a mini session to capture images of her and her husband, Brett- I knew it would be fun and easy.

I pulled in to Lebanon Hills and stepped out to the hot summer day. The bright sun was a stark and welcome contrast to the recent rain, storms and flooding.  These two have such a wonderful love and it was a joy to photograph it for them.  Here is a glimpse into our fun time together:

Thomas Lake Park Mini Session: The Strouf Family!

I admire this family so much. Four children in less than three years. Twin boys. And a whole lot of laughter and love.  With two boys of my own, I can imagine the chaos that marks this family's life. But they are not defined by it. They are defined by the joy experienced.  They savor the sweet moments, and they take one beautiful day at a time.  I was in awe of the relaxed way Jason and Sarah take care of these four little sweethearts.  They are calm, cool and collected and it shows as their children are kind, loving, and were wonderful to photograph! By the end of the session, I had an adorable little girl holding my hand!  I am blessed to do what I do!

Here is a look into our mini session:

Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to meet your family and showcase the love that you all feel!

Class of 2015: Ashley

Oh my gosh. Be still my heart!  I was having so much fun as I photographed this gorgeous girl last week!  The light, the glorious flowers, the perfect weather, the fun and beautiful Ashley; it doesn't get much better than this. :)

After much debate, we settled on the field, beach and downtown area for her locations- and her sweet sense of fashion and that bright, happy smile shines in this sneak peek of her images.

Golden Gate Park & de Young Museum l Adrienne and Brian's San Francisco Wedding!

San Francisco is a classic city.  The iconic Golden Gate bridge, Lombard street, the trolley's and all that makes the city itself one of a kind; this was the perfect setting for such a wonderful love and fabulous couple to celebrate their wedding.
Adrienne and Brian have a modern love story.  They met in Chicago, while both visiting for different reasons, fell in love when they reunited in Las Vegas, were engaged in New York and now, married in the city by the bay.  And while the locations changed for each of these moving events, one thing remained consistent: there was no doubt that they were made for one another.  Adrienne is a beautiful, smart and driven woman with organizational and leadership skills that shined as she put this gorgeous wedding together. Brian is a kind, intelligent, thoughtful and fun guy who knows how to make his bride laugh like no other.  Together, they blend perfectly.
Golden Gate Park was idyllic- acres of beauty tucked within a lively city.  And just within the park, their reception location at the Hamon Tower within the de Young Museum was unlike any wedding I had ever had the honor of photographing.  These two literally celebrated their love with their family and friends within the clouds and fog high above San Francisco.  It was a magical setting, a moving day and a wonderful combination of sweetness and sophistication all in one.
As dense as the San Francisco fog that rolls quickly and profoundly into the bay, so is the deep love of Adrienne and Brian- proven true through years of life together. Just as these two blend together beautifully, their wedding was the perfect blend of a classic city and a modern love story.  Here is a glimpse into the 'I do's' and details of such a fantastic day:

All the wedding guests stayed at the iconic Fairmont Hotel.  It was also the perfect place for the couple to prepare for their big day!

Just beyond the city, tucked beneath the fog, you can spot the Golden Gate Bridge:

A masterful shot of the moment Brian asked Adrienne to marry him in New York!

A stunning bride!

I loved all that Brian included in the gift to his groomsmen!

The first look took place within the gorgeous suite near the top of the Fairmont. The views were incredible.

As was there first look!

I loved the atmosphere of the garden! It was truly romantic and gem within the city:

Adrienne's parents had just recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary- as a gift, Adrienne gave them a few moments of her wedding day for pictures of just the two of them.
They. Are. Adorable.

Just as the reception began, the quintessential fog rolled in.

Congrats you two! It was a honor to be a part of your amazing day!
