November 23rd in Minnesota is a bit of a gamble weather-wise. It could feel like autumn, with sunshine and a few leaves brilliantly shining, it could be pouring rain, or even a blizzard. It could also be zero degrees with a wind that makes you cold to the core. For Paul and Jill's wedding day, that latter was true. And still, these two held tight to each other, smiled lovingly and celebrated beautifully.
Jill and Paul are not strangers to cold weather. Minnesota raised, they had bravely handled cold temps during their engagement session last winter, (see those pictures,
HERE). And so, it was no surprise when Jill said she wanted to stick with our plan and do most of the portraits outside. The Little Log House in Pioneer Village in Hastings provided gorgeous backdrops of rustic barns, vintage brick, snow-kissed grass and a soft sun that illuminated the love these two share. Although it was my coldest wedding to date, it was also one of my favorites. Jill and Paul, their love, their friends and the classic and elegant details of their day were a joy to photograph and warmed my heart from beginning to end.
Here is a look into their day- one thing is for sure, unlike November weather in Minnesota, these two are not a gamble... their love is here to stay.
Show these two some love- if they get 20 comments below they will receive a free $30 print credit! :)
