Oh these two. There is nothing not to love and a million things to adore. They are sweet, genuine, thoughtful, beautiful, intelligent and fun. They are the total package. I was so looking forward to their day two weeks ago. I couldn't wait to lay my eyes on the details of their day. With Cassie's amazing skills in clothing design, planning and beauty, I knew this would be unforgettable. And the weather...thank you Lord! Cassie and I prayed- I mean it, we both prayed for the weather. It was ugly, brown and frigid just days before their wedding...but our prayers were answered! The ground was blanketed in beautiful snow and the temps were above 30 degrees- a small miracle for February in Minnesota! This serene, majestic landscape with gorgeous trees and beautiful bold roses, with elegant colors and sophisticated wraps made this this wedding was not only incredibly meaningful, boisterously fun, but also stunning!
Highlights from their day included Cassie's joy-filled smile, Jon's happy laugh, amazing DIY details (hello fur wrap and flower girl dresses!), and perhaps my favorite: a surprise breakout dance choreographed and preformed perfectly by Cassie and her normally quite and reserved dad! When Cassie and Jon pulled me aside at their reception and asked if they could sign a contract for me to be their 'lifetime photographer' I was so touched and said a resounding "YES!" These two are the epitome of why I love what I do. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love- and look forward to documenting many more moments of your sweet relationship!
