Baskets & Baby Boy: Harrison's Newborn Session

The sweet joy, the I-am-exhausted-and-I-don't-care, the I-didn't-know-I-could-love-like-this emotions.  These are the things that make newborn sessions unlike any other.  Harrison melted my heart from the first moment.  He is a small little guy who kept his parents on their toes by arriving a few weeks early.  But don't let his six pound frame confuse you: Harrison has a strong spirit. He didn't want to miss a thing during our session and drifted asleep  just in the last few minutes of our session.  Between his perfect toes, his adorable cheerio mouth express and those sweet, alert eyes, there is no doubt he was perfectly knit in his mother's womb.

I knew these two would be great parents- watching them grow together through their engagement, wedding and maternity was beautiful and such an honor. And then, to document the beginning of three instead of just two- was amazing.  Here is glimpse into their session:

Snow-Kissed Fields & Sweet Love: Emily & Brandon's Engagement Session

Oh my goodness. Minnesota winters can be beautiful. When you weave them together with a couple as joyous and in-love as these two, they can be downright gorgeous!  The sunlight peeking through the large evergreens, their super cute rustic save the date sign and most of all their contagious laughter and sweet love made this such a fun session. I love doing engagements- I get to experience the couple in a much different way then when we first meet at a consultation. I get to see their beautiful interactions and loving dynamic.  Here is a look into our session from this past weekend:

Class of 2015: Taylor

Sometimes sessions are a family affair. For Taylor, it meant bringing along her mom and sister- both of which I adored as much as Taylor.  I loved seeing the close bond these three had- and the love and support that they give one another through lives ups and downs.  Taylor is a beautiful girl- inside and out- and I was continually impressed with her ability to block out the cold in her fashionable outfits.  Together, all four of us navigated through snow-covered fields, areas with vintage brick and a downtown with so much character.  Here is a look into her session from this past weekend:
