Gowns & Friends: A Four Bride Urban Session!

I kind of hit the photographer- jack pot. Or maybe it was a version of photographer-paradise (minus the beautiful temps!). When one of my 2013 brides, Teresa, contacted me about this shoot I couldn't wait.  Four beautiful friends and four gorgeous weddings over the span of a year came up with a creative excuse to get dolled up again, wear their stunning gowns and celebrate friendship!  

They braved the snow in heals and the blowing wind on the Stone Arch Bridge- all with smiles and champagne!  I truly didn't want the session to end! Here is look into some of the final results of one of my favorite shoots ever! 

A Terrific Tree Farm Mini Session: The Tillmann Family!

     Too many session to count. Untold amounts of laughter and silliness. A wonderful friendship. Little girls growing to not-so-little.  These are a few of my favorite things with the Tillmann family. Kary was one of my very first clients when I started my business in 2009.  There are no words to really express the gratitude I feel towards her- for her belief in me, for her friendship, for who she is.  And I have to say, this may be my favorite setting so far! What is more wintery Minnesotan than a snow-covered Christmas tree farm, a vintage sled and mugs?  Not much. Here is peek into our mini session last weekend! 

An Über Cute Urban Session: The Salchert Family!

     There is no doubt that my job is fun. I love getting to meet new people and see old friends. Jessie and her family happen to fall into the second category!  Jessie and I grew up attending the same schools and graduated together in high school.  I was blessed to reconnect with her a few years ago when I did their first family session- and this time around was even more fun!  These beautiful kids have grown SO much and were a delight to photograph!  After many frigid days, we were given a warm 30 degree day on Saturday for their session! Here is a peek at this wonderful family!

Class of 2015: Breanna

I love my clients. Don't mistake this beautiful senior, with her flowing blonde hair and sweet smile, she may be gorgeous, but she is also tough.  We started our November 1st session with temperatures in the 20's and a wind that was a force to be reckoned with.  This didn't faze her in the least. In fact, we rallied and had one of the best sessions yet!  Her gifts in running, photography and clearly- in being photographed- shined during her session.  Here are a few of her images from last week!
