An Adorable Arboretum Engagement: Rachel + Oleg

 

After the long, brutal winter we all endured, this spring has been like a long lost friend returning from afar.  But earlier this week, the night of Rachel & Oleg's engagement was simply glorious.  The sun was shining, peaking through the vibrant cherry blossom trees that only paled in comparison to the love between these two.  

These two remind me every moment why I loved what I do. I loved getting to know them more during our time together Thursday. I loved hearing more about where they come from, who they are and what they hope the future holds. I loved the way we ventured into the many gorgeous areas the arboretum has to offer. I love that we lost track of time and were almost ushered out of the arboretum just after sunset- all because these two are meant to be together and my heart leapt with joy being able to capture it all. I love that the images that resulted showcase the cute, fun couple that they are.  Here is a look into our session:

 

  

  

We will end with how it all began- these high school sweethearts have grown up and grown in love- I can't wait for their 2015 wedding!

Fort Snelling Chapel & Profile Event Center Wedding: Nicole & Dan

  With blue skies, sunshine, sprouting leaves and blooming flowers, Nicole and Dan celebrated their love just as spring made its appearance.  These two are so thoughtful, love one other so tenderly and show such a sweet, quiet love that is strong and long-lasting.  They were the most go-with-the-flow couple I have ever photographed and simply wanted to soak up the day, the love, and revel in the blessing of their relationship with those they care about most.  From beginning to end, the day was flawless- showcasing a couple who is certain to enjoy a life full of laughter and memories made together. 

    The Fort Snelling Chapel is a quiet, beautiful place tucked in between the bustling cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.  It provided the ideal place for these to to say "I DO!" to forever.  As we stopped by Minnehaha Falls and then made our way to the Profile Event Center, these two were the picture of a relaxed pair, totally confident in one another and their commitment.  One of my favorite details was their incorporating of the empire state building statue.  As Dan proposed on top of this iconic building a few months ago, there was no question that they were made to be together.
