2013 Grad: Levi
The glorious sun was shining, the temperature a perfect 30+ degrees, and the snow softly covered the ground and blanketed the tree branches. What a wonderful day for a winter session! Levi and I started out at the Sherburne Wildlife Refuge and made our way to Princeton, capturing Levi amid both the majestic trees and the rustic brick.

February Fun: Teresa & Brandon's Engagement Session!
They met at the very end of college; just weeks before graduation and embarking on their journeys. And yet, they were meant to be and their paths weaved together beautifully- and just in time. Fast forward several years and you will find this engaged couple full of laughter, energy, and sweet, beautiful love. Teresa shared that they wanted to have fun during our session, and despite the cold temps and frigid wind that is Minnesota, we did just that! Here is peek into our time together!
What's better than marshmallows and cocoa in February?
Amazing! This fun-loving couple can rock the smiles AND the serious/content look?!
Their first photo together, EVER- so many years ago. And today, they're ready to be married!
We have to end with this- fun in the snow with this joy-filled couple in love!

Big News!
I am so happy to finally and officially announce the birth of our 2nd son, Noah, on December 13th, 2012! He has proved to be a snuggly, sweet and healthy boy thus far!
I have so enjoyed my boys and am thankful for the blessing and gift they are. I have also learned a few lessons. One of the most significant is that as an entrepreneur, there is no such thing as a true 'maternity leave'. I had envisioned not working at all for a month or two. But found myself meeting with and booking six weddings, being a featured vendor at a wedding expo, answering about 250 e-mails and voicemails, speaking at a few schools and even photographing a couple sessions, all within the first 6 weeks of my sweet Noah's life. Thankfully, I LOVE what I do, so it was good- but certainly different than what I had planned. (Side-note: Ironically, as I type these words, my two year old is at my office door yelling, "mama done work!") Oh the joys of continuously learning the art of balancing motherhood and work.
These next few weeks look to bring more excitement for KWP. This includes:
-Many engagement sessions!
-A grad session!
-A speaking engagement!
-A few family sessions!
-Another edition of the KWP newsletter!
-Teaching my first Photography Workshop!
Thankfully, things don't really pick up until the 'busy' season begins in May. Until then, I am enjoying the boys, adjusting to being a mom of two and planning a lot of fun ideas for my 2013 wedding, engagement, family and grad clients!
Thank you for walking this journey with me. You're not just clients, but friends whom I am honored to know.

Isaiah has, for the most part, been an amazing big brother. It melts my heart to see him kiss his baby brother sweetly each day.
